I've been meaning to get this on video so that you can see what we do each morning after devotions but before we start our book work. Mckeever graces us with his presence even though he doesn't need this.
I started this for a fun way to learn without thinking about whether or not they are learning. I am hoping that this will help Gabriella as she starts talking and for preschool next year.
The credit for this board goes to many other people. The ideas I have taken from different homeschool blogs and added some things to make it our own.
I tried to post this last night but the video was too long. I had to re-do it to make it two. ENJOY!

Pumpkins and Snakes and Teeth OH MY!
Saturday it was time to pick our pumpkins from the neighbors "pumpkin patch"! The kids had fun deciding which one they would choose. We haven't carved any yet but they had fun drawing their ideas on the pumpkins.
Searching for the right pumpkin...
Still hunting for the right one
Gabriella is deciding...is it big enough?
Mckeever found his perfect one
Montgomery's perfect pumpkin
Perfect pumpkin, Perfect size!
While we were looking for pumpkins Mckeever found a couple snakes...he was pretty excited about that! He grabbed one and it bit him...oops!
Gabriella is NOT excited about this!
Dad shows Keever how to pick it up.
There's another one!
Montgomery pulled her 2nd tooth today, with a little encouragement. Dad said she had to pull it today or he was going to do it for her before he left for work. It has been hanging on a little and we discovered last week that the adult tooth is growing in...WAY behind it.
Here I go...
YES! I did it, in no time at all!
EWWW! It's bloody
See that tooth way back there? Let's hope it will move forward over time. It's looking like braces here we come!

Kiddie Cuteness
I was play wrestling with all 3 kids on the floor today, and of course it was them versus me. Well Montgomery came up to me with her hands cupped around her mouth and she whispered, "I'm gonna be on your team." A few seconds later, Gabriella came up to me with her hands cupped around her mouth and whispered, "Team." I thought that it was very cute.

Na-na Na-na Boo Boo
So, this morning Gabriella was standing on the hearth saying na-na na-na boo boo to her daddy. She learned it from Mckeever and Montgomery of course! She would crouch over to the side because Todd would come towards her like he was gonna get her. It was a moment I was happy to capture. This is our Gabriella, in all her cuteness, everyday!

Ella...cute as ever!
Gabriella loves to put on a show. She saw me wink at Montgomery and tried to mimic it. We thought her attempt was too cute not to capture and post. It just took me a couple days to get to it...but here it is.

Laughing at myself
I was showing the kids the blog I just posted and Mckeever said...uh Mom, you spelled straight wrong. He He. I'm so tired, I need to go to bed, just thought it was so funny that Mckeever noticed and pointed it out to me. Maybe that will teach me to proof read my posts.
Fun Hair
Montgomery wanted her hair wavy like her cousins was on Sunday. So last night after her bath I braided her hair in lots of little braids. She looked so cute. When we took it out this morning it was wavy like she wanted it. I curled the bottom of the hair where it was strait. I wish I had taken a picture of it. By the time I thought about it most of the curl was out. But at least I took a picture this morning of her cute braids!

Pumpkins and Science Fun
Our neighbor planted pumpkin seeds and has offered for the kids to come and check them out as they grow and get first dibs on some pumpkins when they are ready for the picking. The kids went over to check out how "their" pumpkins were doing and all the new growth.
Mckeever put together a "Biome in a bag" today so that he could see different plants and how they respond. He did a desert terrarium about a month ago and he enjoys watching it change. Montgomery of course wants to do one also. It is a great way to do some fun hands on thing with the kids.
