bath fun

Montgomery and Gabriella were in the bath for a long time tonight.  They love to play in the water together so if I'm able to get them in early they will play until they realize the water is cold.  So, when I got them out Montgomery wanted her towel wrapped around her "like you do mom".  So, after I wrapped Montgomery's, Gabriella wanted the same of course.  They were as cute as can be in their little towels, being funny and making each other laugh.

lots of snow

We got quite a bit of snow...the kids were SO excited.  Mckeever got up and quickly ate and cleaned up so he could go out.  Montgomery was a little slower, but shortly after Mckeever she was outside.  Gabriella wasn't so sure about putting all those clothes on.  After seeing the kids having fun she decided to go out but wouldn't put her snow pants on so she couldn't get into the snow.  They had lots of fun but came in cold and had some hot cocoa.

Bible Verses and Snow Fun!

Tonight the kids got a GIFT!  It started snowing.  They were thrilled, so they went out for just a couple minutes.  Gabriella could have done without it, she didn't like the snow hitting her in the face.  They came in right to the fire to warm up.

 This is what happens when Gabriella gets into the permanent marker that didn't get put up high enough.  I guess she'll have a black stash for a day or so.  Proverbs 29:15 "The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself brings his mother to shame."  I think it's time to give some loving discipline :)

Pumpkin Seeds...Trick or Treat

Aunt Beverly, the pumpkin seeds turned out okay.  I was hoping for a little more seasoning.  Todd wanted a bbq flavor.  So I blended some seasonings and it worked...BUT, they could use more seasoning.  To eat just one or two you wouldn't say, MMM bbq.  I will probably soak them over night in seasoning next year...give them a little more in your face flavor.  Not bad for a first try :). On Sunday we were at Grandma and Papa's to eat and trick-or-treat.  We had yummy soups and TOO MUCH candy.  It was a fun night!
